420 events in Amsterdam

420 events in Amsterdam

The stoner holiday 420 has been celebrated worldwide. What originally startted as a few teenagers trying to escape for an afternoon joint has turned into an international and universal stoner holiday.

For those visiting Amsterdam, coming with the intention to celebrate 420 in a citty where coffeeshops reign and can be found on every corner. If you're coming to the city with only a few friends or on a solo trip or you live in the area and want a more social event for this most renowned holiday, this list of activities is perfect for you.

This comprehensive list give you insight on what the locals readily enjoy and tourists will love too.

Smoke Boat Tours

Smoke Boats are one of the most scenic options for 420. One of our favourites is a 70-min tour with a free drink included.  In our very humble opinion, most of the smoke boat tours have wayyy too many people and it ends up being a men's only coffeeshop on water. We feel the best options are the boat tours with a smaller amount of of seats to make friends, be social, more comfortable, and more co-ed.

puff and paint amsterdam

Puff and Paint

Unlike America, Amsterdam NL has a bunch of coffeeshops, but not a lot of other smoke events as the subject of the legality still looms in the air, however they do exist.  As there is only one puff and paint in Rotterdam, Amsterdam is the same with only one puff and paint.

An all Girls Puff and Paint, hosted by Twenty Sumthings and The Light Womb, that combines spirituality, herbal healing, and creative expression. This event is not just painting, its guided meditation and elevated experience through provided herbs to mix with.

420 Friendly Nightlife

This one is expansive as the list changes year by year, but we have found an extensive list with regular updates for your 420 night in Amsteram. The Nightlife in Amsterdam is an interesting time where EDM music comes to life and people consume how they please.

Because some night clubs have a no drug toleration policy, this list shows just the opposite and is of places where you can puff and party.
