This brings us to how to use the ring. Everything depends on your joint filter and this depends on how you make a joint filter. The ring is made to accommodate the average joint tip size and slightly pinches the filter to hold the joint, similar to many other joint clips on the market right now.
- Pinch the tip
This pinch should not harm or ruin your joint, however the pinch needs to be enough to slide the tip through the arches. After practice, this should get easier with time. Reusable joint filters or glass filters will not work with the ring, only cardstock based tips that need to be rolled to create.
2. Slide the tip through the arches
This part can be tricky if it’s your first time using the Gaïa Ring. Slowly wiggle the tip through the arches until the crosspoint of the arches are holding the lowest point of the tip in your joint. You can reshape your tip to be circular again once fit inside the arches.
Once finished use your thumb to slide the tip out of the arches to dispose
This is as easy as pressing a button. Only you are removing your finished bud from the joint ring. Please make sure to wait until the joint is no longer burning before you push out of the arches.
